After months with the Noblechairs EPIC, here’s what I can tell you about it:
In addition to its splendid design, it’s also equipped with all the functions you need for a perfect sitting position.
If you love beautiful things, quality and the special care that goes into making a gaming chair, you’ve come to the right place, because that’s what Noblechairs is all about.
Their real advantage over all the other chairs on the market is that they’re aimed at a clientele who can afford and want luxury.
Now I’m going to tell you everything you need to know before you buy.
Sommaire
The Noblechairs Epic gamer chair is for gamers who…
Don’t want to skimp on quality, and want the best chair there is (you’ll feel like you’re on cloud nine, and everything is top-notch – materials, settings, functions).
It’s perfect for anyone who spends hours and hours sitting.
So on that note, if you do very little sitting, I’d recommend saving your money and going for a budget gamer chair.
It makes my top list of high-end gaming chairs, alongside the very good Secretlab Titan 2022.
Ideally, a height of around 1m40-1m85 is recommended and a maximum weight of 120kg.

The Noblechairs EPIC chair has a cold 55% density.
In practical terms, this means it’s superbly crafted and will always return to its original shape…
Even after hours and hours of sitting on it!
Thanks to this, it will last longer and retain its initial shape throughout its life, because…
Yes, once flattened it’s anything but comfortable, as you’ll feel the seat structure under your buttocks.
It also means that the seat is quite firm (perfect for those with back problems, or who quickly get back pain from prolonged sitting).
What’s more, it’s open-pored.
Which means that, unlike other gaming seats that retain heat and make you sweat quickly, here…
The temperature is easily regulated, so you won’t have any problems with perspiration or excessive heat!
Clearly, their aim is to destroy the competition.
The sides are slightly inclined.
This allows the chair to keep you seated and supported.
What I particularly like about this one is that they’re neither too tight, nor too wide.
It’s really the most perfect fit I’ve ever seen on a gaming chair.
The chair is super supportive, so before I was used to sliding around, or twisting a bit, and thanks to this, I’m superbly seated and upright.
Your back will thank you for choosing it, as it features a tilting mechanism.
For example, if you lean back, the backrest will follow your movement.
So you’re completely free (and so is your back, as it won’t feel constant pressure in the same place).
So you’ll feel much better and be able to play longer!
You can, of course, lock the seat with a control under the seat if you don’t like it tilted, but…
I wouldn’t recommend it.
Well, I’m a bit used to that, and I expected it…
As virtually all gaming chairs have a class 4 gas spring (the maximum), I obviously expected the Noblechairs Epic to have one too.
In short, the gas spring is used to provide the force to raise/lower your chair.
So there’s no problem here, since the Noblechairs has a max-class gas spring.
I expected this too, given that the Noble chair Epic is intended to be a luxury chair:
The frame is steel, and the foot cross is aluminum.
Steel, as I’m sure you already know, is a super-strong material, so it’s a great guarantee of durability.
Aluminum for the foot cross, on the other hand, is both strong and resistant, as well as pretty!
People usually break their foot crosses because they’re not strong, or because they’re made of plastic.
With aluminum, you can rest easy.
It’s got it all. Its 4D armrests let you :
Adjust them to the height of your desk and your elbows to avoid shoulder pain.
This often happens when they’re too high or too low, because if they’re too high, your shoulders will be too high and it’ll pull on them.
And if they’re too low, your shoulders will bear the load of your arms all day long.
Adjust them to the width of your shoulders.
No two people have the same shoulder width, so it’s super important not to feel cramped in the chair, and not to need to spread your shoulders too far apart to be able to wedge yourself in.
Move them back and forth to get closer to/farther from your desk without having to move the chair.
This is very useful in many situations, for example when your desk isn’t straight…
Or a keyboard that’s a little too big
Or when you’re moving towards the desk, but you still feel too far away, and they usually prevent you from moving any further, well now you can.
And finally, you can adjust them to swivel, which is also very useful for keeping your arms at the right angle to the armrests.
For example, when you’re typing on the keyboard, your arms are tilted inwards, so they’re not perfectly straight.
You’ll be able to angle them perfectly.
The first thing that strikes you is how beautiful it looks.
The curves are truly elegant and designed to be very comfortable as well as pretty.
The brand logo is inlaid on the top of the chair, as well as on a small piece of metal in the upper part (at shoulder blade level).
The logo is also inlaid on the two cushions supplied with the chair.
Its only flaw is its lack of color, because…
It’s available in very few different colors.
Although I’d prefer to recommend you take the Noblechairs Epic in black, as it’s very versatile and very pretty.
The Noble chair’s polyurethane leather (crust or polyurethane-coated fabric) is superbly crafted.
In addition to being very resistant and not wearing out over time (no cracking, no tearing)…
It’s vegan!
And it’s the only gaming chair I know of that offers this type of imitation.
And for those who like to go even further…
You can find a “Genuine Leather” version.
And this is the only genuine leather gaming chair in existence (and I can tell you that I’ve seen a lot of them, so I’ve also done a lot of testing)…
The difference is that it’s prettier, stronger, more durable and ages very well.
I could even say that it gets better and more personal over time.
Nevertheless, it’s a living material, which will require maintenance and daily moisturizing.
In short, if you want the best of the best, and are prepared to take the time to maintain it, go for the Leather model.
The first is for the curve of your back (at the bottom), to preserve the curvature of your back and make you feel good.
The second is placed in the curve of your neck, to preserve your neck and improve your posture there.
It’s very useful, especially the lumbar cushion, which makes you feel much better when you’re sitting.
The neck cushion is a bit more of an accessory, and I tend not to use it.
The seams have been very well worked – they’re tight, uniform, strong and the thread used is well made!
What does that mean?
It’s a great plus for durability.
Very often I’ve had low-end chairs where the wires would come apart, or even cut in the worst case…
And the seat became less and less comfortable, because the upholstery moved too much.
With its 60mm polyurethane castors, the Noblechairs Epic is surprisingly smooth-running.
On both hard and soft floors, they move forward without catching or making tracks!
That’s the only drawback: it can only be adjusted up to 135°.
On its own, I think that’s more than enough to find a good position for watching a film or resting.
But I know that some people like to have a very large tilt, up to 180°…
So if you want to lie down on the chair, or watch a film while almost lying down, I’ve taken out a few stars.
Adjustments are easy to reach: on the outer side of each armrest, you’ll find a knob allowing you to set the height of each armrest.
On the right-hand side of the seat, you’ll find a lever for tilting the backrest.
Under the seat you’ll find a lever on each side, one for raising and lowering the seat, the other for locking/unlocking the tilt system.
Finally, the wheel under the seat allows you to adjust the tilting system according to your preference.
It’s very easy to assemble, and will take you half an hour at most!
The only regret is that the screws come separately and not pre-assembled as on some gaming chairs.
I spent several hours studying the global consensus on this chair and it turns out that users love it for :
Its beautiful appearance and very high degree of comfort!
The quality of the materials and the ease of assembly are also frequently mentioned.
And it’s true that this is clearly a top-of-the-range chair, as well as being quick to assemble.
The seat is very firm, which is perfect for solving any back problems you may be facing.
Frankly, a good hard chair is much better than one with a little too much slack.
Delivery was very quick, and the after-sales service is top-notch and always willing to help.
On the downside, apart from its price tag, which will put some people off, this chair is guaranteed to be a no-fail buy (especially if you’re buying it as a gift).
In short, the noblechairs epic is considered one of the best gaming chairs around.
The Klim Esports, also 4D adjustable, high resilience foam vs. cold foam, a maximum load of 150kg vs. 120kg for the Noblechairs and a backrest that can be adjusted up to 160° vs. 135°.
However, the big difference with the Noblechairs is…
It has slightly more premium materials and better comfort.
I’d only recommend the Klim if you’re over 120kg and/or need a very reclining backrest.
The Robas Lund DXRacer!
Adjustable in 3D vs. 4D for the Noblechairs, it also swivels up to 135°, with a maximum load of 150kg vs. 120kg.
It’s a very good chair, but I’d only recommend it if you don’t have the budget for the Noblechairs.
Read the DXRacer Robas Lund Review.
The Arozzi Verona Pro V2, adjustable only in 1D vs. 4D for the Noblechairs, a recline of up to 160° vs. 135°, cold foam and a maximum load of 135kg vs. 120kg.
I’d only recommend it if you can’t afford the Noblechairs and don’t mind having height-adjustable armrests.
Read the test of the Arozzi Verona Pro or the Arozzi Verona V2 (its little sister).
Finding a quality gamer chair is no mean feat, especially when you’re in the luxury business.
The Noblechairs epic, with its high-quality materials, settings and unrivalled comfort, is well placed in the luxury sector of gamer chairs.
You’ll get :
It’s the ideal companion for long hours of play, and perfect for preventing back pain.
