So you’re a Harry Potter fan too?

Unfortunately for us, there aren’t many options when you want a gaming chair and you love Harry Potter.

I’ve scoured the whole internet, and I’ve only found two still available – the others are no longer in production.

However, if you have a preference for the Gryffindor house, you’ll have two options to choose from.

A chair that I find really bof bof at a price a little too high for what it is AND the best gaming chair of the moment, but at a very high price.

On the other hand, if you’re more into Slytherin, Hufflepuff or Slytherin and you want a gaming chair bearing the effigy of one of these houses, then you’ve only got one option (I’ll tell you about it in a moment).

The best Harry Potter Gaming Chairs are :

The Secretlab x Harry Potter: Unbeatable, highly ergonomic

gaming chair harry potter

Secretlab already has a very, very good reputation in the field, so when you combine Secretlab AND Harry Potter…

You end up with an ultra-quality gaming chair that’s also very pretty.

What’s more, the design has been very well worked out and is perfectly finished in the colors of the famous Gryffindor house.

However, the Secretlab x Harry Potter isn’t just about design.

It will be easy to adapt to any type of profile and morphology, as it is available in several sizes (and that’s rare).

For example, if you’re under 1m69 and weigh less than 90 kg, you should select size S.

If you’re between 1m70 and 1m89 and weigh less than 100 kg, you’ll need to select the Regular size.

If you’re between 1m81 and 2m05 tall and between 80 and 100 kg, you should choose size XL.

It will fit you perfectly, whatever your size, because the measurements of each model have been redesigned.

Whether it’s the depth of the seat (so your knees don’t knock against the seat) or the height of the seat (so your feet can touch the ground) and the height/width of the backrest.

The materials used are also state-of-the-art.

The foam is high-density foam, specially molded to give you two advantages.

Firstly, it won’t sag (so you won’t end up with your buttocks on flattened foam), so it’s a real investment over time.

Secondly, it’s designed to distribute your weight evenly across the entire seat.

This even distribution will prevent your body from straining one muscle more than another, and thus over-adapting (because if it adapts to the wrong position, eventually you’ll be “twisted”).

And the best part is the tilting mechanism, perfect for long hours of play.

It’s an off-center tilting mechanism, so the tilting is done at knee level…

This means that your feet will always be touching the ground, your hips will be less stressed (and therefore more protected, because hip problems happen fast) and…

As it also improves blood circulation, you’ll no longer feel like your legs are heavy.

Basically, having a chair with a rocking mechanism is super important for varying positions and moving around a bit when you’re sitting.

It allows your body to relieve itself and not remain stiff as a post all day long (and therefore soliciting the same muscles all the time).

Because if you do that, well, goodbye to your back – nobody would ever think of working out all day, so why would you put your back through that all the time?

Secondly, the armrests are 4D adjustable.

You can adjust their height, which is great for ergonomics, because to take the strain off your shoulders, you need to keep your elbows at the right height (preferably at a 90° angle).

You can also adjust their width, so you can adapt them to your shoulder width (what’s the point of having armrests if they’re too far apart?).

They’re also angle-adjustable, so you can angle them inwards, because when you’re playing the console or keyboard/mouse, your arms are never quite straight.

And last but not least, they’re adjustable from front to back, so you can adapt them to your current position.

The backrest tilt is also very good, going up to 165°, so you can easily find a position in which you feel comfortable sitting.

It’s also great for watching a film, stream or taking a break.

The structure is also very good.

The frame is metal, the base aluminum (the best material, as it can withstand a pressure of around 1 tonne).

But…

They didn’t joke about the upholstery either.

Their imitation leather is 12 times more resistant than normal chair imitation.

So it’s much more durable, and you won’t have to worry about a chair that ends up totally chipped and destroyed after a few months.

And finally, if there’s no lumbar cushion, that’s because there’s DIRECTLY built-in lumbar support.

And it’s the only chair with built-in lumbar support that adjusts in height AND volume.

So you can adjust it to your height and body shape.

Your spine forms an S shape, and is slightly curved at the base of your back.

If you don’t support it when you’re sitting, or if you don’t reproduce this curvature…

You’re going to be in a lot of pain very quickly.

Secondly, the headrest is magnetized (so there are no straps to get in the way) and has memory foam.

Memory foam is great, because it distributes pressure points and improves blood circulation.

However, a headrest is less important than lumbar support, and much more optional.

It’s just there to help you achieve a “neutral” neck position if you tend to lean forward.

The Subsonic x Harry Potter: poor value for money

gaming chair harry potter

Well, clearly, if you’re desperate for a Harry Potter chair and don’t have a big budget, you don’t have much choice.

This is your only option if you want an inexpensive Harry Potter gaming chair.

However, the value for money isn’t all that good: a chair of this type is normally worth half the price if you go for a “basic” design.

That is, you’d pay half as much if you took a chair that was simply black/white/blue/other.

Or you could have many more settings, for the same price.

On that subject, I’ll let you see plenty of examples of what I’m up to on my top inexpensive gamer chairs by clicking here.

However, if the fact that it’s Harry Potter means a lot to you, but you can’t really invest in a chair that will last you for years…

There are a few things you need to know to make an informed choice!

First of all, it’s available in two sizes.

There’s the junior version of the harry potter gaming chair, which you can choose if you’re under 1.60 m tall, or if you’d like to give it to a child.

Then there’s the adult version of the harry potter gaming chair, which you can choose if you’re over 1m60 tall.

Frankly, if you’re buying the junior version for your child, it makes sense to limit yourself to a small outlay.

However, if you’re buying the adult version for yourself, it all depends on how much time per day you intend to use it.

If you’re on a 30-minute or 1-hour schedule, your back won’t mind such a short time.

On the other hand, if you’re really going to use it for 4-5 hours or more, you’d better avoid this chair and get a better one.

Now, in terms of functionality, there are some rather dubious choices in this chair (and just to clarify, it’s the same one you can find at Carrefour, Leclerc or Auchan, sometimes with identical designs, sometimes very similar).

For example, why put a class 3 gas lift on the adult version, and a class 4 gas lift (more powerful, more solid, more robust) on the junior version?

I don’t see how such a choice can be justified.

On the other hand, the foam is high-density on both chairs, which is a good thing.

If the foam weren’t high-density, it would be very likely to end up totally flattened after a few months.

However, the backrest doesn’t recline, the armrests aren’t adjustable and it comes without the famous neck and lumbar cushions.

Nevertheless, the upholstery seems to be of good quality and not to chip over time, and the base is made of steel, which is very good, and sometimes even rare.

So there are positives, as well as negatives.

What mainly bothered me was that it was the ergonomic points that were negative.

So really, if you spend less than 1 hour a day on the computer/console, it’s ok, and it would be silly to spend more money for so little.

On the other hand, if you play for a long time, get a better chair, even if it’s not a Harry chair.

Harry Potter gaming chairs FAQ

In this short FAQ, I’d like to answer any questions you may have about Harry Potter gaming chairs.

There are currently no Harry Potter Slytherin gaming chairs.

However, if you REALLY want a chair in Slytherin colors, there’s a little method for that.

You can take a secretlab gaming chair, and add one of their special covers.

They call them Secretlab “skins”.

I know there’s a Slytherin cover, so that might be a solution.

However, it’s going to cost you a fortune to do this, but if money isn’t an issue, then go for it because it’s really well done.

In that case, you can follow the advice I gave you above.

It also applies to these houses (I checked myself).

Where to buy the best Harry Potter chair?

 📆 Warranty:️ 5 years
🚛 Shipping: Very fast
👩 Customer service: English
⭐️ Quality : Unbeatable

I think you’ll have to agree with me.

There’s only one Harry Potter gaming chair that absolutely outshines all the others by far.

It’s the collab between Secretlab and Harry Potter.

With its 4D armrests, 165° recline, off-center tilt mechanism, patent-pending high-density foam, magnetized headrest, range of available sizes and…

This magnificent, well-crafted design in the colors of the Gryffindor house…

Impossible to beat, or at least it doesn’t get any better than this.

Its downside is the price, and you have to see it as an investment, because if you spend hours and hours sitting…

What’s more important to you?

Invest once, never have to think about it again, and take care of your health for the next few years, or reinvest again and again in various low-end gaming chairs?

I don’t think the question even arises.
