Whether you’re a fan of Genji, Dva or Tracer, you’ll have no choice but to pull up a chair at Secretlab.
They’re the only ones to offer designs featuring the heroes of Activision/Blizzard’s game.
Fortunately, they’re incredibly well made, and Secretlab makes the best chairs.
The only problem is the price: clearly, if you don’t have the budget, there’s no point in reading my reviews.
However, if it’s all right with you, follow me all the way, because I’m going to tell you EVERYTHING.
I think you’ll easily agree with me that Genji is the most aesthetically pleasing (and what’s more, she’s also my favorite character).
It’s superbly crafted and the colors are beautifully chosen.
The dragon’s blade is superbly reproduced on the back of the chair, and they’ve spared no expense!
The same goes for the front of the chair: every detail has been reproduced, and they’ve selected the right colors to reproduce Genji’s armor.
What more could you ask for?
What’s more, when it comes to functionality, Secretlab is just incredible.
Admittedly, the price is high, but you’ll be able to choose a chair size to suit you.
(Yes, it’s the rare brand that offers chairs sized entirely differently according to the size you choose).
For example, size S if you’re under 1m69 and 90kg, size regular if you’re between 1m70 and 1m89 and under 100kg, and size XL if you’re between 1m81 and 2m05 and weigh between 80 and 180kg.
It’s very important to choose the right size, because that’s what’s going to make the seat deeper or shallower, and so on.
So for once, you’ll be able to touch the ground if you’re too small!
Another very good point is that the foam is high-density.
This means it’s durable and won’t end up flattened like Homer’s sofa.
Comfort-wise, it’s firm, which is great for your back (any physiotherapist will tell you).
And if you thought that was all… This foam has even been patented, as it distributes your weight evenly across the entire seat.
So you don’t have to worry about one part of your body tiring out faster than another!
So you can stay seated longer.
As for the tilting mechanism, it’s off-center.
Basically, this means you’ll be able to keep your feet on the ground even when you’re tilting (because the tilt is at knee level).
This will help improve blood circulation and avoid the “heavy legs” effect.
This is essential if you spend more than 5 hours a day sitting, playing or working.
Now, let’s talk about the armrests.
They’re adjustable in 4D.
This means you can adjust them in height (to take the strain off your shoulders) in width (to avoid tension in your shoulders if you’re thin) and then…
…in angle (to adapt them to the position of your arms when you’re playing) and from front to back (to adjust them to the depth of your desk).
Then, the backrest can be tilted up to 165°, which I think is ideal, whether you’re looking for a good position or…

But what I also find most incredible about their chairs is that they’re the only ones to have integrated a lumbar support directly into the backrest, which is…
Both volume AND height adjustable.
So it’s perfectly adapted to your body and the curve of your back.
But if you thought that was all, even the headrest is magnetized, so there’s no need to bother holding it in place with a rubber band that’ll move 77 times during the day…
Now, as for the materials, once again they’re incredible.
Metal frame (again, it’s basic, it’s for durability and strength, but all chairs have it).
However, the aluminum base is only found on the best chairs!
The aluminum base is the most solid available.
And last but not least, even the upholstery used has been incredibly well crafted.
Their pu leather is 12 times more resistant than the pu leather of a lambda chair…
In other words, you’re not about to end up with cracked or bleached leather…

Well, if I say perfect for women, it’s because it’s all pink and super cute!
And even the D.va logo is super “girly”, whether it’s the writing or the rabbit’s head (super well reproduced)!
In fact, they could have used a bit of blue, because D.va’s costume is a bit bluish too.
But I think they really tried to target a female audience with this chair!
After that, there’s nothing to stop you buying it as a guy, if that’s what you like – I personally think it’s a very pretty chair!
Then, in terms of functions and settings, everything is identical to what I said about the Genji chair.
Nothing changes.
The armrests are 4D, so you can adjust them in height, width, angle and front to back.
This is ideal for adapting the armrests to your posture and protecting your body from pain.
The lumbar support is also integrated and adjustable in height and volume.
So you won’t have to bother with cushions, and what’s more, it adapts entirely to you (once again).
Next, the rocking mechanism is off-center, which is also ideal for sitting for several hours a day.
It keeps your feet on the ground all the way through the rocker, while improving blood circulation in your legs.
What’s more, the headrest is also magnetized (a first in the gaming chair world).
So there’s no need to bother with a cushion that’s going to move 30 times a day.
And believe me, the magnet is quite powerful.
Last but not least, the chair can be tilted up to 165°, allowing you to adopt an almost reclining position, and the materials used are of the highest quality.
For example, the fabric is 12 times more resistant than normal fabric (as well as being more breathable) and the base is made of aluminum (the most durable and resistant available).

I don’t know about you, but personally I think that if you’re going to pay for a particular design…
Might as well get something really elaborate, right?
But here… It’s orange and black with the overwatch logo…
Okay, it’s nice, but it’s very simple, isn’t it?
Do you really want to pay for that when next to it there are D.va, Genji or Tracer editions that are so well done?
As for the rest, in terms of functionality, it’s exactly the same as the D.va and Genji versions.
So, as I don’t particularly recommend it, I won’t go into detail again.

I know that the price of a Secretlab chair can be scary, and that you’ll be asking a lot of questions before you buy one.
So let me answer a few questions to put your mind at rest.
It all depends on your budget, your gaming time and what you’re looking for.
If you play a lot, for example more than 5-8 hours a day, I’d definitely recommend a Secretlab gaming chair.
If, on the other hand, you don’t spend much time gaming, then take a look at my ranking of the best low-cost gaming chairs.
Quite frankly, yes.
They’re the only brand to offer chairs that are almost entirely patented, because they’re so innovative.
For example, just the fact that they have an integrated lumbar support, adjustable in height as well as volume, is incredible.
They’re the only ones to have pushed the envelope so far.
But not only that, they’ve also created an exclusive “pebble” seat so you don’t find yourself sliding forward when you’re sitting, and so on.
They really haven’t done things by halves, and I could go on like this for a long time, they’ve worked everything to perfection.

For me, the most aesthetically pleasing is clearly the Secretlab Genji!
