If you’re on this page, you’ve obviously chosen Quersus for its quality and reputation.
But… They have several models, and when you don’t know everything, you don’t want to risk wasting money on several 0s for lack of knowledge.
And above all, of all the models available…
Which one to choose?
Which one is right for ME?
So many questions you’re asking yourself, and which I’m going to answer throughout this article!
First of all, however, I must inform you that Quersus only makes top-of-the-range products.
If you’re looking for a cheap gaming chair, you’d better go here.
But if you’re looking for quality, you’ve come to the right place.
Secondly, my aim is not to make you spend as much money as possible, so my ranking is impartial and you’ll see…
You’ll certainly be surprised to find ICOS in 5th position.
But I’ll explain and give my reasons later.
So read on if you want to know all about the Quersus brand!

As Quersus is a good brand, they have “categorized” their chairs so that they can be chosen according to your height.
The VAOS range will suit you if you’re between 1m70 and 1m85, i.e. of average height.
Now… Why choose it?
Well, for the price (which I think is low) you get a high-density foam (QRS Cold Cure) of 60kg/m3…
This is particularly important, because density impacts the chair’s durability.
60kg/m3 is a VERY good density, and your chair won’t have any sagging problems even after years of sitting on it 8h/d.
What’s more, the seat is quite firm, just what you need to avoid back pain, since it provides good support for your body.
Another rarity provided by Quersus is the synchronous tilt mechanism.
Behind this barbaric name lies a mechanism found on very few gaming chairs.
First and foremost, a tilting mechanism is very important for your back, because without it, the seat is fixed AND…
ALL DAY long, you’ll be resting on the same muscles, without working the others.
A disaster for your back.
So that’s it for the explanation, now a synchronous rocking mechanism, it’s an improved version of the rocking mechanisms.
With this one, your back will remain in contact with the backrest throughout the entire tilt (because the tilt and the seat open at a certain angle).
Your feet will also always be touching the ground, your hip muscles will be less greatly stretched and blood circulation in your legs will be better.
Secondly, the armrests are 4D adjustable, which is also top-notch.
This means you can adjust them in 4 dimensions: front to back, top to bottom, angle and width.
This is very important for relieving the pressure on your shoulders and…
To find the right sitting position!
As each person is unique, you’ll need to adjust the armrests to suit how you feel best.
And if that weren’t enough… The lumbar support is integrated and adjustable.
This is perfect because your back NEEDS lumbar support to preserve the S-curve of the spine, otherwise you’ll be in pain.
The problem is that a separate cushion isn’t the ultimate in ergonomics.
Yes, some people prefer a support with less volume, so having a cushion of a certain fixed size is clearly not the best.
Well, here it’s all adjustable.
And as a little bonus, the headrest is included with delivery (ideal for keeping your neck in a neutral position, for much the same reasons as for your back).
When it comes to durability, Quersus hasn’t been kidding, with…
A reinforced steel frame, which will greatly increase the durability of your gaming chair as well as its stability (that’s what reinforced means).
You also get an aluminum base, which is the most resistant material, far ahead of nylon and steel, and can withstand very high pressures.
In short, it’s a no-brainer: buy the chair once, and you’ll never have to think about gaming chairs again.
And… Did you know… The very modern, very pretty design you see there is… Patented!
That’s how much they don’t do things by halves.
Ps: I’m sure you’re wondering, “Well, yes, but why the VAOS 505 and not the 504 or 503?”
Good question, I chose it because it’s made of fabric (it’s a breathable material so you won’t sweat on it in summer) and is easy to care for as well as being durable.
AND the 505 model is the only one with a hydrophobic fabric (so water doesn’t get wet), and as we all know, gamers don’t get out of their chairs to drink… Disasters can happen.

I’m in danger of repeating myself, since the VAOS GEOS and EVOS models are very similar, just that the dimensions are different.
So, if you loved the description of the VAOS, you should know that this is the VAOS, but in a “bigger” version.
Why is that?
Well, because the seat and backrest are wider and have been specially designed for these situations.
So if you’re over 1.85 m tall or corpulent, go for it.
Otherwise, the rest of the features are very similar to those of the VAOS.
You’ll also find high-density 60kg/m3 foam.
Which is perfect, and all the more important when a chair is aimed at imposing physiques.
Because density is what ensures that the foam won’t sag, and the bigger you are, the more it “takes”.
So 60kg/m3 is perfect, it’s a very high density, you can use it as much as you like, it won’t sag.
As for the seat, what’s also important is that it’s firm rather than soft (otherwise there’s no support), and that’s the case here, it’s very firm.
Then there’s the synchronized tilting mechanism.
This is very important, as it keeps your muscles moving even while you’re sitting.
It also allows you to keep touching the floor throughout the tilt, allowing better blood circulation to your legs and…
Continuous contact of your back with the backrest, for greater comfort.
You may have already been disgusted by some “not-so-great” rockers, but a good synchronous rocker like this one will make you love this essential feature for your back all over again.
The armrests are also adjustable in 4 dimensions.
So top to bottom, right to left, front to back, and angled!
Ergonomic seating is essential, and you can’t do without it.
Firstly, to relieve the pressure on your shoulders, but also to sit comfortably in front of your desk.
What good are armrests if your elbows can’t rest on them because they’re too far apart or too close together?
Here you won’t have this problem, as they are adjustable in width.
As you can see, armrest adjustment is important for a whole host of reasons, and deserves an article of its own.
Secondly, the lumbar support is also integrated, so there’s no need for a cushion that moves around and has to be put back on all the time!
No, no, with the integrated lumbar support, you adjust the volume to suit YOUR mood and YOU enjoy.
You think about it once, adjust it once according to how you feel best, and think about it again!
A lumbar support is particularly important because your back has a natural S-shaped curvature.
If you don’t respect it, you’re asking for a lot of trouble and back pain.
In terms of durability, I was expecting to see an aluminum base, as it can withstand pressures of several hundred kilos without letting go, and this chair is aimed at the physically imposing.
You’ll also receive a free Quersus headrest. It’s pretty much the same principle as for the back, but here the aim is to keep your neck in a “neutral” position to avoid neck pain!
And that’s exactly what Quersus offers us, so it’s a success!
The steel frame is made of reinforced steel, to ensure not only excellent durability but also greater stability.
The design is like all Quersus chairs: patented.
Finally, I didn’t choose the 701 model by chance.
It’s because it’s made of fabric, and fabric is the most breathable material (all the more important when you’re fat, because you tend to sweat quickly, especially in summer).
So having an imitation is downright uncomfortable.

As with the other models, the EVOS is very similar to the GEOS and VAOS.
The big difference is that its dimensions are better suited to people under 1.70 m tall.
So it’s perfect for short people or teenagers!
You’ll still find all the features available on the VAOS and GEOS.
So you’ll also have a high-density cold foam, patented by Quersus, the “QRS Cold Cure”, with a density of 60kg/m3.
In concrete terms, density is what ensures that your foam doesn’t end up collapsing after a while or due to overuse.
I’m sure we’ve all had the odd mattress that ended up totally flattened in the places where we used to lie…
You’ll avoid that with this one!
The seat is firm, which is great if you want to be able to sit down without quickly suffering back pain, as too much slack is detrimental to support.
As with the other models, the mechanism is a synchronous tilt mechanism.
In concrete terms, a rocking mechanism allows you to “rock” on your chair, which is particularly important for your back.
In fact, your back, your body, needs movement if you are not to feel non-stop pressure on the same muscles.
And the fact that it’s a synchronous rocker is very good, because it’s a specific type of rocker with a certain opening of the backrest and seat that allows you to :
Keep your back against the seat at all times, feet on the ground throughout the rocking movement (this should make you happy, especially with chairs where, as a child, you rarely touch the ground at all…).
It also improves blood circulation in your legs, so no more heavy legs at the end of the day.
This Quersus gaming chair also features 4D armrests.
A very important feature if you want to adopt an ergonomic posture.
You can adjust them up and down, in width, forwards and backwards, and also in angle.
When you’re small, you’re often not very wide, so the ability to adjust their width is very welcome.
Because what’s the point of having armrests if you can’t touch them?
As for the rest of the adjustments, they’re all very useful. For example, from top to bottom, you can set them at the height of your desk to support your arms when you’re playing.
From front to back, it lets you get a little closer to the desk.
Generally speaking, if you’re a small person, you’ll be quite far from the desk, so moving the armrests back lets you get a little closer.
And the angle adjustment, that’s pretty obvious: who plays with arms as stiff as stakes and all straight?
No one does.
Then there’s the integrated lumbar support.
I find this a great advantage, as it allows you to adjust the volume of the lumbar support.
Being small, you need to adjust it properly more than anyone else.
It all depends on your size, but it’s a great advantage to be able to manage the volume to put it correctly in your back.
And if you’re wondering what it’s for, it’s to reproduce the natural curvature of your back.
The famous S-curve you saw in school on S.V.T. skeletons.
Without it, you’ll suffer.
For your neck, there’s a similar principle, but the aim is to reproduce a “neutral” position to avoid neck pain.
And Quersus hasn’t forgotten about you, offering you a memory foam headrest!
As for durability, that’s great too.
Because the Quersus EVOS 301 is made of reinforced steel, which increases its lifespan (because it’s so strong) and the stability of the seat (so it doesn’t rock like a boat).
Where I was positively surprised, however, was by the aluminum cross-legs, the strongest material.
As for the design, I’m repeating myself, but it’s patented on this model too.
And for once, I didn’t choose the EVOS 301 at random, because it’s a fabric model, unlike the others in imitation.
And there are quite a few risks with imitation leather, such as the risk of it peeling or being damaged, and it also makes you sweat in summer.
So when you can, like here, choose fabric.

First of all, before getting to the heart of the matter, you should know that the Quersus Gotaga is, characteristically and functionally speaking, a Quersus VAOS.
So it’s designed primarily for average heights from 1m70 to 1m85, and everything I’ve said about the VAOS also applies to this one.
However, I couldn’t rate them differently, except in the top 5 where I gave it a 4, because even if the design is very nice and I personally love Gotaga, it’s still more expensive than a simple VAOS.
So price was my only point of comparison, since technically the chairs are otherwise similar.
However, I’d also like to point out that…
I personally think it’s very pretty and very well crafted in its appearance, and I’ve been a Gotaga fan since I was 15-16, so I gave myself a little treat by adding it to this top 5!
However, I’ve never put a “Design” criterion in my top 5, so I made the comparison on price, which will speak to a lot more people.
So if you’re a big fan, don’t take into account the rating in the top 5, because as I said, it’s actually a Quersus VAOS.
So much for the explanation.
As for the specifications, I’ll let you scroll back a little to read the VAOS 505 review.
The only difference is that the Quersus Gotaga has no hydrophobic fabric and costs more.

You’re probably surprised to see it at the bottom of the top 5, and if you want to know why, read on.
Compared to other models from the brand, its best feature is its adjustable seat.
When I say adjustable seat, I mean that you can adjust the depth of the seat to suit your height, so that your knees don’t knock against the seat.
This makes it a chair suitable for everyone, and of universal size.
That’s all very well in itself, but since Quersus already offers models adapted to users’ heights with the EVOS VAOS and GEOS, is it really justified to spend almost double the price?
On that point, it’s up to you and your budget.
Where I find it more disturbing is that the other models have an integrated lumbar support, which can be adjusted in volume.
This means you can adjust it according to how you feel best, what works best for you.
As all bodies are different, some will need more or less volume.
And I think it’s a shame to lose this feature.
So, taking these two things and its price into account, I was obliged to put it last in a Quersus comparison.
After all, it’s only Edition One, and knowing Quersus, they listen carefully to feedback and will most certainly produce a second edition that will correct these shortcomings.
On the other hand, let’s be honest, the price is bound to be high (yes, you can’t have everything).
Otherwise, it remains an excellent chair.
As I said, the adjustable seat is really a first for a gaming chair.
Basically, it’s only ergonomic chairs that have this kind of adjustment, and it really prevents you from banging your knees against the seat.
The design is hyper-futuristic and far more gamer-like than any other gaming chair, and once again, it’s patented!
The chair’s construction is more solid than other models (which are already very solid…), as it’s an intercostal construction (everything fits together) and results in a less heavy and more durable chair.
On the contrary, the beauty of this type of construction is that it can withstand heavy loads.
And that’s why this chair is just as well suited to “small” physiques as it is to sturdy ones.
The foam is high-density QRS Colde Cure foam, 55kg/m3 density.
Which, as we’ve seen, is impeccable for avoiding sagging over time, and for a very durable chair.
The seat is also quite firm, making it perfect for preventing back pain.
The mechanism is synchronous, which not only allows your muscles to move like any other mechanism…
…you’ll also be able to keep your feet on the ground when rocking, limiting the pressure on your lower body muscles and improving blood circulation in your legs.
As for materials, the base is made of aluminum, the strongest material for a gaming chair base.
So, once again, no worries about durability.
The headrest is adjustable, which is handy if you’re tall, so you don’t end up with a headrest at shoulder blade level…
However, I found it a little distracting when seated, pushing my head forward, but you can remove it.
The seat and backrest are spacious enough to suit everyone, so it doesn’t matter whether you’re slim or fat.
The armrests are 4D adjustable, so you can adjust them up and down, right and left, at angles and also forwards and backwards.
When you want an ergonomic chair, it’s clearly a prerequisite to be able to adjust the armrests to suit your morphology.
In short, this is a very good chair, too bad it has the two shortcomings I mentioned.

Quersus is made for gamers looking for a gaming chair that’s both high-end AND ergonomic.
In fact, Quersus doesn’t do low-end.
So this is the brand to choose if you want a quality chair, with carefully crafted designs and settings that are more focused on ergonomics than pure functionality.
Ah, good question!
It was hard enough to answer back then when I made Quersus VS DXRacer, but now…
It’s hard to answer without doing a full comparison of the two brands, with their faults and advantages.
Secretlab’s advantage over Quersus is that they have a particular chair model, which like Quersus comes in different sizes.
But they have gone one step further in terms of adjustments and functionalities, with a magnetized headrest for example, or a lumbar support adjustable in volume AND height, which is not yet possible with Quersus.
For the time being, Quersus only offers volume-adjustable lumbar support.
There’s also the option of tilting the backrest, which is much more advanced with Secretlab.
However, Secretlab’s prices are much higher than Quersus’ “normal” models (by which I mean with the exception of the ICOS, basically).
However, Secretlab don’t have any chairs that, like the ICOS, allow you to adjust the depth of the seat.
So I’d conclude that it all depends on your budget and what you’re looking for/on which you’re willing to make concessions or not.

So you see, for me, the Quersus VAOS 505 is the model that will be chosen most (and also the best).
Thanks to its volume-adjustable lumbar support, 4D armrests, high-density foam, synchronized tilt mechanism…

The problem is that buying it is good, but buying it at a good price is better.
