So, you too have seen Yaheetech’s prices and fancy treating yourself to one of their gaming chairs?

Ok, but beware, while the prices offered are good, there are a few “pitfalls” to avoid:

  • They list the same products several times at different prices (so you can buy the same chair, but pay an extra +20%…)
  • Some are more expensive and far less good than cheaper chairs.

And personally, I’m not here to make you spend as much as possible, so I’ll make sure you avoid bad deals.

Now you’re going to say to me, “It’s all very well to warn me, but how do I determine all this?”

And you’d be right, that’s why I’ve selected the 3 best gaming office chairs from Yaheetech.

These are the ones you can go for with your eyes closed, provided they’re what you need (you can read my review and a review for each chair by scrolling down the page a bit).

The best Yaheetech Gamer Chairs are:

Yaheetech Gaming Chair with Footrest: The best of the brand

gaming chair yaheetech

This is the brand’s best chair, and in a reasonable price range, as I promised.

However, don’t expect a gaming chair with 4D armrests and all that either, given the price, but it holds its own:

  • The armrests are adjustable in 2D, which is quite rare in this type of range!

You’ll be able to :

  • Adjust them from top to bottom, to fit your elbows (forming a 90° angle), which will take the strain off your shoulders.
  • Set them at an angle, which is particularly useful for gaming. When you’re holding the controller, your hands are close together, so your arms are tucked in. Or when you’re playing with the keyboard, your arm is always tilted to access the keyboard.
  • Thanks to the angle adjustment, you can change the orientation of the armrests so that they follow your arms! And that’s the definition of ergonomics: a chair that adapts to you.

But that’s not all: the foam on the seat (and only the seat, unfortunately) is high-density, which means :

The seat won’t end up sagging, so the chair is durable and you can use it several hours a day, the foam will always regain its shape.

It would have been nice to have the backrest and cushions in high-density foam too, but as long as they don’t bear your weight as much as the seat, that’s fine.

Especially since it’s rare to find a gaming chair that’s both comfortable and inexpensive

Another good point is that the cushions are free, and if you’re wondering what they’re for :

  • The neck cushion should be placed… In the hollow of the neck, to keep your neck in a neutral position.
  • As you probably already know, with telephones and all, we tend to tilt our heads too much, and the purpose of the cushion is to avoid this, otherwise hello neck pain.
  • The lumbar cushion should be placed just above the belt (yours). It’s designed to mimic the S-shape of your back, providing support for your lower back and avoiding that dreadful lower-back pain you’ve been known to feel.

Leatherette is made of PVC, which means :

  • It’s a fairly good-quality leatherette, it’ll hold up over time and won’t end up completely shredded after a couple of months’ use.
  • However, I do recommend that you take care of it by applying a cream from time to time.
  • What’s more, imitation leather is particularly popular with gamers, because in addition to its premium look, you can eat/drink while playing without risking staining the chair (well, on imitation leather, a wipe with a wipe and the stain disappears, whereas on fabric…. It’s trickier).

And where I was particularly surprised, given how much they’ve done, was on the backrest tilt, which goes up to 180°:

  • Ideal for finding the “perfect” sitting position, since you can manipulate the backrest angle as you like.
  • And above all, ideal for taking a break, watching a stream while lying down and enjoying the footrest.

Yes, the great thing about this chair is that it has a footrest.

This is particularly useful when you want to relax, watch a Twitch stream or a cs:go tournament in a comfortable position.

Otherwise, unless you’re playing on a console, it’s less useful.

Negative points:

Yaheetech chair without footrest: Excellent if you don't want a footrest

This model is very similar to the other, and I particularly recommend it if you don’t need a footrest.

In what cases, you might ask?

I think the footrest is unnecessary if :

  • You already have one
  • Know you won’t be using it
  • Don’t watch movies/streams, or don’t watch them on your computer, but rather on your sofa.

In these cases, I think it’s better to save money and get a gaming chair without a footrest.

Otherwise, like the other one, it has 2D armrests which allow :

  • Height adjustment of the armrests, to adapt them to the height of your elbows and take the strain off your shoulders.
  • Orientation adjustment, so you can follow the orientation of YOUR arms while playing/writing/working.

On a range like this, it’s rare to find this kind of adjustment.

The seat foam is also high-density:

  • High-density foam prevents the chair from flattening out, so you don’t end up sitting directly on the iron bars.

It’s a real plus for durability, but the density is not specified, and that’s not great.

It also comes with two cushions:

  • A cushion for the lower back, which reproduces the natural curvature of your back and protects you from back pain.
  • A neck cushion to keep your neck in a neutral position (the best) and prevent neck pain.

The imitation leather is also of fairly good quality:

  • It doesn’t crack in a few months and holds up well over time.

And that’s the main thing!

And like the other model (because yes, as I said, they’re very similar), the backrest can be tilted up to 180°, which is great for :

  • Watching your TV series
  • Taking a quiet break and watching a stream
  • Taking a nap or resting without moving from your chair

The only drawback compared to the other model is that there’s no footrest, but on that point I can’t choose for you – it’s up to you to decide whether you’re going to use it or not.

Good points :

Negative points :

The Yaheetech "Basique" office chair: The least expensive of the brand

yaheetech desk chair

It’s the cheapest office chair, but it’s also the worst in the comparison.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying it’s not comfortable or that you shouldn’t buy it, it’s just that it will suit a different category of person.

For example, if you don’t play or sit much, there’s no point in investing a lot of money in a chair that…

Will hardly be used.

So this chair is aimed at really occasional gamers, those who spend 30 minutes-1 hour a day maximum sitting down.

You lose out on a lot of adjustments, for example the armrests aren’t adjustable, the backrest doesn’t recline, and there are no cushions included with the chair.

On this last point, although there are no cushions offered, the chair is made in an “S” shape so that your lumbar and neck muscles are preserved.

But it’s still less ergonomic, you should know.

So there you have it: you lose settings, you lose ergonomic features, but if you’re on a budget and don’t spend much time sitting or playing, there’s no point in breaking the bank.

As for the rest, it’s not bad either.

The imitation leather is of good quality and won’t let you down for a while, and neither will the chair itself.

Given that its frame is made of steel, the materials used are of decent quality.

For example, the foam is high-density foam, so it’s “good stuff” for sure!

So it’s up to you to decide, depending on your situation, but this chair is ideal for smaller people.

What else do you need to know about Yaheetech chairs?

I imagine you haven’t heard much about this brand, so you’d like some additional information.

First of all, Yaheetech is a brand that ships from Germany and specializes in everything to do with home furnishings, decoration and the like.

The brand offers low-cost items with generally very good value for money.

There are, however, a few things to watch out for, as I said in the introduction to this article.

But otherwise, it’s a good brand, which delivers its products well, and I’ve had no problems with them to date.

Where can I buy a Yaheetech gaming office chair?
