When it comes to Vernazza models, there’s a lot to get lost in, and I know exactly what you mean.
Let me explain the differences between all the models:
There’s the very top-of-the-range model, the Vernazza Supersoft, which differs from the others in that it has 4D armrests, velvet-like upholstery and memory foam cushions, but…
It’s very expensive and, because of that, not worth the money Secretlab does better at this price.
The model just below is the Vernazza Soft Fabric.
It differs from the other models in that it has 3D armrests and is made of fabric (and that’s great, because the “plain” Vernazza tends to have PU leather that cracks).
So that’s the one I’m going to review today.
The next model down is the Vernazza “tout court”.
It has 3D armrests and is in imitation leather (which unfortunately tends not to last long on this model).
Finally, there’s the Vernazza Vento, which is identical to the Soft fabric.
They’ve just added a little PU leather on top to try and make it look nicer, but…
Personally, I don’t like the effect and I wouldn’t tempt the devil knowing that the Vernazza’s PU doesn’t hold up well.
As you can see, I’m going to review the best of these models (what’s the point of touching the others?).
The real strength of the Arozzi brand lies in their specialization in the world of gaming.
To this end, they offer several really high-quality accessories that can be added to their gaming chairs.
And it’s actually cheaper than Secretlab (for accessories).
For example, you can find memory foam armrests and memory foam lumbar cushions, all at a fair price.
At Secretlab, the price is much higher.
In short, this is a brand that is gradually rounding out its range without going overboard on price.

This chair has a number of features that make it ideal for gamers who spend a lot of time on the computer.
When I say a lot, I mean around 8h/d.
Of course, that doesn’t mean you can’t use it if you spend less time, but it’s designed to be comfortable for long hours.
So the ideal is to get a chair that’s adapted to your use, isn’t it?
When you don’t play for long, you can always be satisfied with a cheap gaming chair and keep the savings to improve your setup.
But if you play for a long time, it’s worth investing in quality.
For example, one of the features that makes it well suited to long hours of play is its off-center rocking mechanism (I’ll tell you why later).

The Arozzi Vernazza Soft Fabric is one of the best gaming chairs in terms of foam density.
In fact, the foam density is 70kg/m3 for the seat and 65kg/m3 for the backrest.
You might ask, “Why is there a difference in density between the two? Is it serious?”
Well, a difference in density between the foam and the backrest makes sense.
Most of your weight rests not on the backrest, but on the seat.
Then you might ask, “More concretely, what’s in it for me to have high-density foam?
Well, several things.
Firstly, your comfort will be greatly improved, and the foam will be much more durable.
After all, the denser the foam, the less likely it is to collapse.
And high-density foam is considered to be 28kg/m3 or more, so let’s just say that it’s got it!
You’ll get years of use out of it without it showing a single sign of fatigue.
What I really like about the Arozzi Vernazza is that its side cheeks provide optimum support.
(For those of you who are wondering, the side cheeks are the sides of the backrest and seat that slope inwards, you know, the sort of rounded shape the backrest makes).
The big advantage of these side bolsters is that they follow the contours of your body perfectly, keeping you in a comfortable, ergonomic position.
All day long…
And because they force you to stand correctly, you can say goodbye to back and muscle pain.
Especially if you’re like me and tend to be battery-powered when you have to sit down!
All in all, it’s a great way to preserve your health in the long term, especially when you’re playing for hours on end every day.
This type of rocking mechanism is one of the best you’ll find on a gaming chair.
It provides a smoother, more natural movement that’s far more gentle on your body (back/hips) than a centered rocker.
And why is that?
Well, because the rocking action takes place at the level of your knees, unlike a centered rocker where the rocking action takes place in the center of the chair.
And this has several implications for your comfort.
The off-center rocker keeps your feet on the ground throughout the rocking motion.
So circulation in your legs won’t be impeded, and you won’t get that “heavy legs” effect.
But that’s not all…
It also has an effect on your hips: when the rocker is centered, your hips are pulled excessively.
This can lead to physical problems and pain.
With a centered rocker like the one on the Arozzi Vernazza, you won’t have this problem.
It’s a nice feature, but at the same time, for a chair at this price, I wasn’t expecting to see a class 3 actuator.
Class 4 cylinders are the best, because they’re the strongest and most durable.
It’s also more reliable, more resistant to wear and tear, and better suited to intensive use (i.e. gamer use).
Its pushing force is also higher (basically, you won’t have any problems getting your chair up, no jerking).
All in all, it’s a no-brainer!
And there’s more good news!
Having an aluminum base is top of the line – there’s no better choice these days.
It’s a base that offers great resistance to impact and wear, as well as being able to withstand enormous pressure.
For example, a nylon base can withstand around 100-200kg of pressure, while its aluminum counterpart can withstand around 1 tonne!
And what’s more…
Aluminum gives a great aesthetic finish to a base (okay, I don’t think anyone cares but me!).
Then there’s the metal frame, which is a bit more normal, since virtually all gaming chairs have a metal frame.
It’s perfect for strength, durability and also because the material is fairly light, so it gives you a solid, lightweight chair.
It’s a little less best-of-the-best here, as top-of-the-best would be 4D armrests.
Nevertheless, it’s not too bad, even if for the price… They really could have fitted 4D…
Of course, there’s never such dense foam at such a price, but there are 4D armrests.
But in this case, I think they wanted to compromise and go for the foam.
Anyway, I’ll stop digressing, but I like to give you my opinion as much as I can!
So now, what will 3D armrests do for you?
3D armrests bring features that are essential for gamers.
You’ll be able to adjust them in height, which is great for setting them at elbow height to relieve shoulder tension.
You’ll also be able to adjust them in angle, which is essential for setting the armrests at the right angle for your arms.
Yes, unless you’re a Martian, nobody plays with straight arms.
Finally, you can adjust them from front to back to suit the depth of your desk.
For example, if your desk is shallow, you’ll need to adjust them a little further back to best suit your position, and vice versa if your desk is very deep.
This is how you avoid shoulder, arm and wrist pain, which is all too often the result of prolonged bad posture in front of the computer.
In addition to being available in several colors (black, dark gray, light gray, blue and a slightly grayish beige) its overall look is sublime.
It’s rare for a fabric chair to have a premium look, but this one does.
At first glance, it’s enviable.
I think this is partly due to the headrest, which has a rather distinctive and unique design.
Or perhaps it’s the beauty of the curves and the apparent robustness that the Vernazza suggests when you look at it.
Or probably a mix of all these?
I couldn’t tell you, but if you look closely, even the neck attachment has been well thought out…
We’re not here with a hole in the chair and random straps to attach it.
No, no, even the straps breathe quality.
I chose fabric upholstery because I’ve always loved fabric on gaming chairs.
Why do I love it?
Because it’s comfortable against the skin and soft to the touch!
What’s more, its breathability is extremely pleasant, and I’d have to say that’s its biggest advantage.
Why is this its greatest advantage?
Well, with a covering like this, you won’t sweat, and you won’t get stuck to the faux-leather back of the chair.
Personally, I’ve seen plenty of streamers or even LAN buddies putting towels on the backs of their chairs.
Honestly, why not just buy a fabric one?
The only thing wrong with fabric upholstery is that if you stain it, it’s not always easy to get the stains out.
So you’ve got plenty of advantages, but you’ll just have to watch out for stains.
And if you have pets, that’s another advantage, because if they scratch the fabric, it’s not the end of the world.
However, if they scratch the imitation leather, it’s much more serious and irreparable…
It’s a real plus for your comfort.
The neck cushion is useful for relieving tension in neck and shoulder muscles.
It’s very useful if you spend many hours on the computer or playstation.
The aim of this cushion is to “force” you into a neutral neck position.
So you don’t have your head too far back or too far forward.
Secondly, the lumbar cushion will help you maintain a healthy posture.
At the same time, it protects you from lower back pain.
It’s essential that you use this cushion, because your back needs to be supported, and above all…
Your spine naturally forms an S, so you need to help it replicate this shape, or you’re headed for disaster.
Finally, of course, they’re made from the same soft, breathable fabric as the chair’s upholstery so you can sit comfortably, without sweating or feeling sticky.
As I’m sure you’re as aware as I am, manufacturing quality is an absolute must when buying a gaming chair.
Fortunately, the Vernazza Soft Fabric didn’t disappoint in this respect.
The finish is very good (although, as with 99% of gaming chairs, there are the famous plastic covers, but how can you blame them for something that all brands do?)
What’s more, they’ve at least had the merit of putting on sturdy covers that exude robustness and quality, so that’s something to be proud of, even if they are made of plastic.
Then, if you look at the seams, you’ll see that they’re even, close together and tight (but not too tight, or you’ll tear the fabric).
So don’t worry, this famous Arozzi Vernazza is built to last!
The castors are wide, so you won’t have any mobility problems.
For example, it’s easy to move around, even on carpets and rugs, because they’re so wide.
Then, whatever the surface (except linoleum), the castors will roll superbly.
Being “premium” castors, they’ve also been designed to make as little noise as possible when rolling (which is true) and…
They’re tougher and more durable than a pair of normal castors, extending the life of the chair even further.
Another very good thing, although it could have been better, because some chairs have a tilt of up to 180°, but…
Okay, 180° is better, but is it really useful?
There’s always that doubt, and frankly the answer is “it depends”.
Would it be useful for you to be able to take naps and sleep on your chair?
It all depends on your situation, which is why it’s always difficult to give an opinion on this point.
However, 165° would be more than enough to find a position you’re happy with, and…
It’s also enough if you want to take some relaxing breaks while watching a little stream or something.
And above all, it gives you the possibility of constantly varying the angle of inclination.
So if you get tired of one position, just change to another, and so on.
It’s very good for your back, because it reduces muscle fatigue and the strain on your muscles.
So as soon as you feel it, don’t hesitate to make changes.
So for backrest tilt, everything happens on the right-hand side of the backrest.
Just use the lever to adjust the inclination (by pulling it) and release it when you’ve found the inclination you like.
Then, under the seat, you have a lever to raise/lower the chair and another…
That lets you lock/unlock the seat.
The great thing about this chair is that you can also lock the seat independently of the backrest.
For example, you can tilt the seat backwards, and separately, tilt the backrest backwards too.
As for the armrests, everything happens on them.
There’s a button to press on the outside of each armrest to raise and lower them, and then…
To adjust them in angle or forwards and backwards, just move the armrest directly!
It was incredibly easy to assemble.
The manual is clear and easy to follow, so you don’t need an engineering degree to assemble your gaming chair!
What’s more, the parts are clearly organized to make your job easier.
So you’ll be sitting comfortably in your gaming chair in no time!

To make things as easy as possible for you, I’ve taken a few screenshots here and there.
As you can read, it’ll be perfect for you if you spend many hours on the computer.
The fabric is high quality and will stand the test of time without a hitch.
All in all, a very good choice.
How could we not mention it?
It’s slightly more expensive, but it still offers many additional ergonomic features.
For example, the armrests are 4D, the backrest inclination is similar, the rocker is also off-center, but the lumbar cushion is integrated and adjustable in height and volume.
What’s more, the headrest is magnetized and features memory foam.
A great choice if you’re on a budget.

The Quersus rocking mechanism is of very high quality, the armrests are almost always 4D adjustable, and the price is very attractive.
The only downside is that the Quersus backrests don’t really recline.
only the rocker allows the chair to be tilted back a little (by 140°).
So these are very good alternatives to the Vernazza, and I’d recommend them (unless you need a chair that can recline backwards).
Note that the Quersus foam is not as dense as that of the Vernazza, and it’s really this point that makes the Vernazza competitive, not anything else.

In the same price range, the Razer Enki isn’t too bad either.
The armrests are 4D adjustable, which is better, but the backrest tilt only goes up to 152°.
Both have an off-center tilt mechanism, which is great, but the Enki also has a memory foam cushion.
The Vernazza doesn’t.
Still a good choice, but then again the Razer Enki’s foam isn’t as dense as the Vernazza’s.

As I said, the Vernazza has a lot going for it: a reclining angle of up to 165°, an off-center rocking mechanism, a super-soft fabric, and above all, very, very high-density foam.
And for me, that’s the great advantage of this chair, the enormous density of its foam.
So even if you weigh a lot, the foam won’t collapse!
