The Langria racing gaming office chair sets itself apart from other gamer chairs by combining :
In fact, this chair has a long history behind it.
It specializes in everything for the home, chairs, etc.
The main aim of this brand is to solve your problems.
To put it simply, they find a problem, something missing, that interests consumers, and develop it with a focus on quality and comfort.
When you see the number of positive comments, you’re bound to want to review it, and so…
I can’t wait to share this review with you, I’m going to show you everything that’s interesting or not about this chair.
Sommaire
First of all, if you’re a seasoned gamer or spend a lot of hours gaming on your computer/console or teleworking, don’t buy this chair.
It’s really aimed at a “casual” audience who need to sit down once in a while, or even relax and watch a movie lying down with the footrest.
But this chair won’t suit gamers who spend most of the day playing a whole host of games…
You’ll soon regret your purchase.
As far as body size is concerned, as long as you don’t exceed 120kg, it’s a good fit for most people, even if you’re 1.90m tall.
In any case, as I said, it’s not designed for long hours sitting on, so as long as you don’t exceed 120kg, it’s fine!
And frankly, if you can do without the footrest, I’d recommend an inexpensive gaming chair instead.

Well, the first problem is that I haven’t been able to find out the density of the foam, officially or otherwise.
I couldn’t find the exact density figure, nor any indication of whether or not it’s high-density foam.
And this is rather important, because the density of the foam is what makes the chair last over time and not end up collapsing.
The big problem is that once the chair has collapsed, you won’t be able to sit on it as comfortably as you did in the early days.
The foam won’t regain its shape, and that’s very annoying.
That’s why I’m not so happy about not having any indication of the foam density, especially as it seems to sag over time.
So it seems more like a deliberate omission, rather than an oversight.
So that’s another reason why this seat is best suited to occasional use…
And not for frequent daily use over long hours.
Nevertheless, at least one good thing is that the seat, headrest and armrests are padded.
Normally, gaming chairs have a bucket seat!
This means that the side cheeks on the seat and backrest are quite pronounced, to give a “held” effect in the seat.
As this is more of a mixed-type chair, it’s easy to see that the side cheeks are not very pronounced.
What does this mean in practical terms?
Not much, it’s just a small detail. Some people prefer not to have pronounced side cheeks because they tend to feel cramped in them.
Others love it because it keeps them in place, so it’s up to you to decide which category you fall into.
Generally speaking, I think it’s better to be held in place, but that’s just my opinion.
Another thing that makes this seat unsuitable for long hours of gaming is the lack of a rocking mechanism.
The rocker mechanism is what allows the backrest to follow the movements of your back, so if you lean back a little…
The backrest will follow the movement (whether forwards or backwards).
In this case, you have no choice: it will always be fixed, which isn’t very good for your back and lumbar region in the long run.
The piston or gas cylinder is what allows the chair to have the right amount of force to go up and down.
Basically, it’s important to ensure that the chair doesn’t rise and fall.
Certification ensures that the gas piston complies with national/international regulations.
So it’s a good thing for safety and all that goes with it…
However, I would have liked to know, as is the case with most gaming chairs, what type of gas piston it is.
And we don’t know.
The chair’s structure is a mix of wood and metal.
Metal is a very good material, because it’s light, resistant and very strong.
Wood, on the other hand, is a little heavier, less resistant, but more ecological.
The advantage of chrome, which I admit is quite rare on gaming chairs, is that it’s particularly light, strong (a little less than steel, but strong nonetheless).
And, above all, it’s pretty: high-gloss chrome always looks great, and it’s great to see such good materials.
They can be adjusted in height, but only slightly.
I’d say that’s the minimum required.
It allows you to adjust them to suit the height of your desk, but I think that’s going to be difficult to do…
Because the adjustment is really very poor compared to other gaming chairs.
The only thing that’s really adjustable on this gaming chair is the footrest…
However, if you’re a console gamer, I think you’ll be fine with it, since you won’t need to adjust it to the size of a desk.
That’s the minimum requirement, but you should also know that there are chairs that allow you to adjust them higher or lower, or at other angles.
The first surprising thing about the Langria racing office chair is…
It looks like both a gaming chair and an office chair.
Nonetheless, I’d say that this model is more of an office chair than a gaming chair, which is a nice change.
It’s available in a range of colors, including blue or black and blue or red/black.
Despite its “massive” appearance at first glance, it’s not really that big.
It’s the footrest and lumbar cushion in particular that give this impression.
The design itself is quite successful, and you’ll see that depending on the color chosen, the lumbar cushion also changes color to keep the two-tone consistency of the chair.
What is imitation leather?
It’s a chemical process that produces a material designed to resemble leather as closely as possible.
This process saves the astronomical costs that would be incurred by the consumer if all gaming chairs were made of leather.
That’s why it’s reserved for the very top end of the market, and why it’s so expensive.
However, although it’s made to look as much like leather as possible, it can be of poor or good quality.
As it happens, on this gaming chair, it’s rather thick and of good quality, and I haven’t seen any cracking over time, which is also a good omen.
The chair comes with a lumbar cushion that respects the natural curvature of your back, so you can sit more comfortably.
In fact, the back is not 100% straight: around the lower back, the back forms a natural curve.
And the purpose of the lumbar cushion is to respect this curvature so you can enjoy greater comfort.
It’s of the same quality as the chair’s leatherette (it’s made of it too).
However, nothing for the neck comes with the chair.
It’s normally used to keep your neck rounded, but it’s not 100% necessary.
What I like about it is that the seams are very clean (tight, thick, no slack) and without being very showy like some chairs that make no effort on this.
There’s even a little strip of leatherette to protect the seams.
These are basic castors, which roll well, just right, and don’t catch on the floor.
They’re also very stable, and the seat has been BIFMA-certified for its stability.
Last but not least, the castors are very sturdy and reinforced.
The backrest reclines up to 105°, which in itself isn’t much.
So you don’t have much leeway to choose the posture that suits you best.
Still, it’s better than nothing.
You can, however, recline the backrest to 175° if you want to use the chair’s footrest.
So yes, if you want to use the footrest, you’ll need to tilt the chair to 175°…
This can be particularly useful for napping, resting, reading a book or watching a film.
However, if you’re a gamer, I don’t think you’ll make much use of this option.
On the side of the armrests, you’ll find a small knob that lets you adjust their height.
On the underside of the chair, you’ll find a small lever that allows you to adjust the height of the chair…
Or recline the backrest to a fully reclined position by pulling out the footrest.
You’d be forgiven for thinking that the chair would be so massive that assembly would be extremely complicated, but this is not the case.
It assembles very quickly in just a few steps, all clearly detailed in the instructions.
The main thing I’ve noticed about this gaming chair in terms of customer feedback…
It’s much loved for the firmness of its seat, which is a good thing for those with back problems or those at risk of having them.
What’s particularly appealing is the integrated footrest, which is quite rare in the gaming world.
However, it’s not very sturdy.
The armrests have very few adjustment options, but to my surprise, few users have complained about this.
The main problem is that the foam, as I suspected, is not high-density foam, so it can sometimes sag.
All in all, it may be a good option if you absolutely must have a footrest integrated into the chair.
The DXRacer Robas Lund has armrests, each adjustable in 2D vs. 1D, the backrest reclines up to 135° vs. 105°, and accepts a maximum load of 100kg vs. 120kg.
It’s about as affordable as the Langria, so if you’re not over 100kg, I’d recommend it.
Read the Robas Lund DXRacer review here.
The Empire Gaming 700 has 2D vs. 1D adjustable armrests, a backrest that can rotate up to 180° vs. 105°, a maximum weight of 120kg for both chairs, and high-density foam.
It’s the one I’d recommend most, especially as it’s in the same budget.
Read the Empire Gaming 700 review here.
Then there’s the Arozzi Enzo, whose armrests aren’t adjustable vs. 1D, whose backrest doesn’t swivel vs. 105°, and whose maximum weight is 105kg vs. 120kg.
Not quite as good as the empire gaming 700, but more affordable and better than the langria if you don’t need the footrest.
Read the Arozzi Enzo review here.
If the main aim of the langria gaming chair was to offer a “special” and distinctive chair with an integrated footrest, it’s been a great success.
As for the rest, you can get better for the same budget (see alternatives). So it’s up to you to decide whether the footrest is worth the money.
