So if, on the other hand, you don’t play much and aren’t interested in the ultimate gaming chair, I wouldn’t recommend it.

First of all, you need to know…
The chair’s back and seat are made from a unique type of cold foam, patent pending.
Now you’re going to say, “Okay, that’s all very well and good, but what’s in it for me?”
Well, in short, it means that the foam has been designed to last a long time, and will always return to its original shape even if you use it every day for months on end.
Thanks to this, you’ll have a very durable chair that you can keep for a very long time.
And this is a criterion not to be overlooked: if you choose a gaming chair, always make sure that the foam is high-density.
Next, in terms of firmness, the foam is rather firm.
And personally, I love firmness, because it’s what you need to avoid back pain and problems as much as possible (if you don’t believe me, ask your physiotherapist)!
Then there’s the foam, which is so special because…
It’s designed to distribute your body weight evenly across the seat.
As a result, your weight will be more evenly distributed, so you’ll have fewer “targeted” pressure points on your body, and therefore…

It’ll force you to stand a minimum of correctly, which is great, because it’s all done without YOU having to do a thing.
What’s more, as they don’t slope inwards too much, they’ll suit all profiles, whether you’ve got broad shoulders or not.
As for the seat, Secretlab has designed a unique pebble-shaped one and…
It’s only available from them, it’s their invention.
At first I wasn’t sure what it meant, I just felt more comfortable and slid forward less.
(and I’m sure you know that sliding forward is a torment, because it ends up putting you in a sort of half-sitting, half-lying position, which in the long run destroys your back).
So I took a look at the seat, and in fact what they call the “pebble shape” is a slightly curved seat that directs you towards the center of the seat.
This will give you an optimal seating experience.
The combination of the well-thought-out side bolsters and the pebble-shaped seat makes for a superbly comfortable seating experience, because now, in addition to being well supported, you won’t be sliding forward.
Having an off-center rocking mechanism is a crucial advantage if you want to play frequently and without breaking your back!
And fortunately, the Secretlab is equipped with one.
Specifically, there are two types of mechanism that are very common in the world of gaming chairs.
The centered tilt mechanism, found on around 80% of chairs.
And the off-center rocker mechanism, found mainly on high-end gaming chairs.

The Fortnite x Secretlab gaming chair features a Class 4 gas piston, making it an exceptional product in terms of quality and durability.
Class 4 has the highest degree of strength and durability.
Basically, you’ll never have the notorious problem of chairs that, once lowered, pop back up with a jerk.
However, Secretlab sets itself apart from other brands by having completely redesigned the jack.
It’s shorter than a normal jack, so your feet will touch the ground more easily.
It’s the ultimate in ergonomics, as it prevents your feet from dangling in the air and cutting off the blood supply to your legs.
The good news is that the chair’s skeleton is made of metal.
A material renowned for its incredible strength and durability.
If you’re here, it’s probably because you’re used to reading reviews, so you’re no doubt aware of metal’s robust properties.
It’s the ultimate in durability.
But where this Fortnite chair reigns supreme is…
Thanks to its ADC12 aluminum footrest.
It’s the epitome of durability (as well as being an aesthetically pleasing material).
This material is far superior to the plastic (also known as nylon) commonly used on 95% of gaming chairs.
In short, it’s top-notch, because for this chair they’ve only used high-quality materials, and they’ve spared no expense.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg…
The base of the chair has been adjusted to make it even more stable than it should be.
And you’ll feel it: once you’ve got it, try tilting the backrest as far as it will go, and you’ll see, it won’t move an inch.
The armrests on this Fortnite gaming chair have been designed to be as ergonomically advanced as possible.
In fact, they are adjustable in 4 dimensions.
This means you can adjust their height (to relieve the pressure on your shoulders).
You can also adjust their width, the aim here being to adapt them to your build.
No two people have the same build, so this is really important.
Ideally, your armrests should be as close to your body as possible.
And if adjusting the width of the armrests isn’t enough, when you screw the armrests under the seat, you have the choice of screwing them closer together or further apart.
If you’re really big, move them further apart, so you get a double effect.
And if you’re really thin, screw them even closer together.
But that’s not all…
They’re also adjustable, so you can set them at the best angle for your arms when you’re typing or playing computer games.
Last but not least, you can also adjust them from front to back (that’s not bad for getting closer to the desk, as I like to be glued to my desk).
Then, on the hardware side, the armrests are covered with a very comfortable PU leather foam.
This means you won’t get sore elbows when using the armrests, as it’s so high quality.
However, what the Fortnite x Secretlab has that its competitors don’t is Cloudswap technology.
Basically, Cloudswap lets you change the top of your armrests at will (since it’s magnetized).
It’s the only chair on the market to offer such a function.
What’s more, if you’re interested, you can also buy Technogel armrests separately.
These are specially designed to distribute the weight of your elbows evenly and regulate temperature (so you don’t sweat).
And this gel is the same as that used in hospitals.
In short, the Secretlab is a top-quality chair from start to finish.
It’s a good investment for any gamer with a long-term vision.
It’s hard not to appreciate this design, so well realized is it.
Everything has been superbly reproduced.
Starting with the “Fortnite” in the same font as the official logo.
The clouds are also reminiscent of the moment when you enter the game, just before being thrown off the bus!
The color scheme was also very well thought out, with a lovely cameo of blue and purple presented here!
But where they really outdid themselves…
The back of the chair.
Often, brands do absolutely nothing for the back of the chair and leave it as is, but here…
They really weren’t kidding.
We’re back to Fortnite’s famous battle bus, with the famous hot-air balloon used to make the bus fly.
Still in a pretty cameo of mainly purple/blue, which goes great with the front of the chair.
Honestly, this design is superbly finished and I have nothing to say about it once again!
SecretLab Neo Hybrid Leatherette is Secretlab’s own coating.
And it’s…
12 times more durable than polyurethane leather!
It’s even made to be as tough as animal skin.
So you won’t end up with a cracked coating!
We’ve even put it through a whole range of tests, and it’s come out unscathed every time.
And what’s more…
It has also been awarded international certificates for its strength and durability.
Then, on a more practical and less technical note…
If you often eat on the computer, it’s great, because if you spill something, it’s easy to clean up, and if you get a stain, it’s easy to clean up.
So don’t be afraid to spend your day on the computer.
Neither your back nor your chair will suffer.
In this respect, they once again push the limits of understanding, with ever more innovation.
For a start, the headrest is magnetized (and even patent-pending).
The fact that it’s magnetized is really a good thing, because it saves you the hassle of having to fasten straps, and what’s more…
Since it’s magnetized, it’s easier to put it on the way you want it.
Because, once again, there are no straps to get in the way.
Secondly, it’s designed to respect the natural curve of your neck, so you don’t have to worry about neck pain.
And as if that weren’t enough, it’s infused with cooling gel for perfect thermoregulation, even in summer!
Now, on the lumbar support side, it’s even crazier what they’ve done.
The lumbar support (also patent-pending) is called “L-Adapt”.
Thanks to it, you won’t need a cushion that’s difficult to place or too bulky – no, no.
The lumbar support is integrated directly into the seat and can be adjusted in volume and height using the knobs on the side of the backrest.
And that guarantees incomparable seating comfort, as your back will be perfectly supported while allowing you to respect its natural curvature.
When it comes to finish, the brand once again does not compromise.
In fact, compared with the majority of gamer chairs, the quality of manufacture is far superior.
Their ingenuity (using magnetic covers, for example) sets them apart from the competition.
So…
No more ugly, cheap-looking covers to screw on.
Now all you have to do is put each magnetic cover in place, and you’re done.
And if you take a look at the bottom right-hand corner of the back of the chair, you’ll even see an NFC certificate.
You can scan it and verify the authenticity of your chair.
This is one step closer to a luxury object.
The wheels on the Fortnite x Secretlab gaming chair are made of polyurethane and are XL in size.
They offer superb fluidity on virtually any surface (as long as it’s tiled or otherwise), without sticking or making any particular noise.
On the other hand, if you’ve got linoleum on your floor, they’ll be slightly less fluid, but that’s always been a problem with castors – they don’t like linoleum.
Last but not least, the castors are equipped with polyurethane treads to protect your floor.
The backrest tilts up to 165° (and even more with the tilt system), which means…
You’ll have plenty of scope to find a recline that suits YOU and in which YOU feel comfortable.
As a bonus, you’ll also be able to relax and watch a movie, series or twitch stream while lying back in your chair.
And for those of you with children, I really appreciate Secretlab’s little attention to detail.
They have a little backrest locking system that you can easily install so that they can’t use the backrest tilt lever in your absence.
Under the seat of the chair, you’ll find various levers that allow you to adjust your position and improve your comfort.
The lever on the right lets you adjust the height of your chair.
The one on the left lets you lock or unlock the chair’s tilt mechanism.
Then, the large wheel under the seat lets you adjust the tilt tension (which must be adjusted according to your weight).
So much for the adjustments available under the seat.
The lever on the right-hand side of the seat allows you to tilt the backrest and lock it in the position that suits you best.
The wheel on the left-hand side lets you adjust the height of the lumbar support.
The wheel on the right-hand side of the backrest lets you adjust the curvature of the lumbar support.
The height of the armrests can be adjusted by pressing the piece of metal on the outside of the armrest.
Angle by pressing the small metal button at the end of each armrest, and width by using the button on the inside of each armrest.
You can assemble your Fortnite gaming chair in just 15 minutes.
What’s more, most of the screws are pre-screwed for easy assembly.
And best of all, the backrest is even easier to assemble than a normal one.
It practically clicks into place by itself, and all that’s left to do is screw it in place.
If you’re too lazy to follow the manual, they even provide an assembly video by scanning the QR Code you’ll receive with the chair!
Delivery was fast, the packaging is sturdy and everything inside was well protected.
In fact, they even tested it.
