The Corsair T2 Road Warrior is the big sister of the T1 Race and T3 Rush, which I also reviewed.
Just like the T1 Race, the T2 has…
The famous “Rolliers” wheels (excellent for fluidity) and is also in PU leather, but microperforated (therefore more breathable).
The T2’s foam is of the same high density as the T3 Rush (55kg/m3)…
But the T2 Road Warrior also features an off-center rocker mechanism (suitable for longer use).
The only thing it has less than the T3 Rush is that the lumbar cushion is not memory foam.
But that’s something you can buy separately, whereas the off-center rocking system is integrated into the chair, and super-important for prolonged use.
Want to know more?
Are you still a bit confused?
Then I recommend you read the review to the end, as I’m going to go into ALL the implications of these changes in detail.
I don’t need to introduce you to Corsair, the world-renowned brand known throughout the gaming world, so let’s get straight to the T2 review!
Sommaire
The T2 Road Warrior is for you:
Recognize yourself in all this? Then go for it!
As an aside, you should know that this Corsair chair is highly ranked in my comparison.
For height, between 1m65 and 1m90 is recommended, with a maximum weight of 136 kg.
Be careful, though, as the backrest of the T2 Road Warrior is not as wide as that of the T1 and T3 – yes, the dimensions of the T2 Road Warrior in this respect are lower.
And in case you like a lot of choice and want the best gaming chair, take a look at my comparison!

Better than the T1 race, similar to the T3 Rush, the foam of the Corsair T2 Road Warrior is 55kg/m3.
What difference does this make to you?
First of all, it’s a very good density; it’s rare to find a foam this dense.
This means that the seat will be firmer (and it’s good that it’s firm, as it prevents pain).
Soft foam offers no support and puts your body in a bad posture.
Secondly, it also means that the chair will last much longer.
It won’t sag, even if you spend several hours a day sitting on it, every day, without a break.
That’s the beauty of high-density foam.
Well, I think you saw it right away when you saw the photos of the T2 Road Warrior.
It’s not called Road Warrior for nothing.
The side cheeks are omnipresent and give the impression of being armed with a shield.
Perfect for those who like to feel supported by their gaming chair.
I’m really pleased to see an off-center rocking mechanism on a gaming chair at this price.
Usually just for this, prices quickly become stratospheric.
The off-center mechanism, compared to the center mechanism…
It has a different rocking point, so your feet will always be touching the floor, and the circulation in your legs won’t be affected.
Everyone will always recommend an off-center mechanism over a center one.
It’ll get rid of that feeling you’ve probably had of always having to move your legs and never finding the right sitting position because they itch.
I wasn’t expecting anything less than a Class 4 piston on the Corsair T2 Warrior.
It’s the highest-end piston there is and…
It’s therefore more robust and has a higher spring force (so you won’t have any problems with jerking your chair up and down).
One very good point: the steel structure is the most resistant for a gaming chair chassis, and it’s also fairly light, so easy to move around.
But where the T2 Warrior surpasses itself (and also the T1 and T3) is that the base is made of aluminum.
It’s super-strong, much more so than nylon and metal feet.
And what’s more? It’s lighter too.
In short, it doesn’t get any better than this.
Once again, it doesn’t get any better than this.
What this means for you is:
And that’s what an ergonomic chair is all about: a chair that adapts to your body.
Frankly, between you and me, the design has a “colossal” look, don’t you think?
You can tell it’s been very well thought out…
In fact, you can see that the top of the backrest slopes forward a little!
In my opinion, this also helps to give it such an imposing style.
Plus, in practice, it’s really cool to put your hands behind and rest.
That’s another thing I like about Corsair: they pay attention to all the little details…
For example, you’ll find the Corsair logo heat-inserted on the top of the front backrest, and it’s also present on the backrest (on the back).
When it comes to colors, you’ll find Corsair’s signature “sobriety”.
Simple, yet all-purpose colors that are easy to adapt to your setup or to place in your living space.
The Corsair T2 Road Warrior is available in all-black, black and blue, black and red/yellow/white.
But it’s only the center of the chair that changes color, so you can add a little pizzazz while keeping the chair sober and not looking like a gaming kΓ©ke.
The big advantage of PU leather is that it’s easy to clean, doesn’t stain – just wipe clean!
So if you often eat (or drink) sitting on your chair, this is generally the one to turn to.
But in principle, the big disadvantage is…
It’s hot and makes you sweat easily, because it’s not a covering that’s inherently breathable.
Corsair, with the T2 Road Warrior, has sought to remedy this by making PU leather microperforated and therefore breathable (at least a little more so).
It’s a big step forward, even if it can’t beat a good breathable fabric!
Last but not least, the PU leather used is of good quality.
You’ll be able to keep it for a long time without it peeling (although that doesn’t mean you can mistreat it, of course).
The lumbar cushion is well padded and sits perfectly in the lumbar region to reproduce the S-shaped curvature of the back.
Without it, your lumbar vertebrae would die in less than 30 minutes.
The headrest is more of a bonus, since in reality it’s not 100% necessary.
But it’s still nice to have a good padded headrest, like the one on the T2 Road Warrior, to cradle you properly.
However, as I said in my introduction…
On this point, the T2 Road Warrior is not as good as the T3 Rush, which has a memory foam lumbar cushion (frankly, it’s amazing how pleasant it is).
It’s understandable, given the price it costs, but you can always buy one separately afterwards.
The seams on the T2 Road Warrior are very clean and well cared for, and you even get a hot-engraved logo on the backrest, screw covers with brand logos…
The plastic covers don’t look cheap, thanks to the engravings, etc.
They’re careful about what they sell.
So some people don’t like them, because they raise the chair so much that it’s (too) easy to move.
Nevertheless, you’ll never find a better range of castors than “roller” castors.
They provide unrivalled gliding fluidity, easily over obstacles and leave no marks on the floor.
These wheels are identical to the T3 Rush, and better than the T1 Race.
The good thing about such a reclining backrest is that…
Although it’s not necessarily essential, you’ll have a wide range to find the inclination that suits you best.
But where it really comes into its own is that you’ll be able to watch streams while lying down (or almost, depending on your preference).
It’s great for resting after a few gaming sessions, or when you just get fed up playing or sitting.
On the outside of each armrest is a small knob for raising/lowering the armrests.
On the inside of each armrest you’ll find another knob for adjusting the armrests.
This is a good thing, as it will prevent you from adjusting them while playing.
Under the seat, you’ll find two levers, one for raising/lowering the chair, the other for locking/unlocking the tilting mechanism.
Under the seat you’ll also find a knob for adjusting the tilting tension to suit your body weight.
You can already tell that the T1 and T3 weren’t very complicated to assemble.
The T2 Road Warrior is even easier to assemble, and the instructions are just as clear.
Tools are supplied with the chair, so even if you don’t have any, no problem.
Here’s a quick rundown of why the T2 Road Warrior is popular (or not):
As you can see, this chair is well appreciated by other buyers!
The Corsair T1 Race and you’ve probably already thought of it, nevertheless, it has no assets that surpass the T2 Road Warrior.
Except that the backrest is wider (but not higher). The T2’s PU leather is microperforated and therefore more breathable, and the foam has a higher density.
I therefore recommend the T2.
Read my Corsair T1 review.
The Corsair T3 Rush!
These are good rivals, the T3 Rush having a wider (but not longer) backrest and the great advantage of a lumbar memory cushion.
However, it doesn’t have roller-type wheels, and its tilting mechanism is centered (which is not so good for the legs).

The Secretlab Titan is for those on a budget…
It has everything the Corsair T2 Road Warrior has, plus an integrated lumbar cushion, memory foam and magnetized headrest.
Nevertheless, the price is colossal.

I’m a gamer like you, and…
I know that the main thing we’re looking for is a chair that lets us sit for long periods of time, without hurting our backs and the rest of our bodies…
And without wanting to spend 500-600β¬ on a chair.
The T2 Road Warrior, with its 4D armrests, highly reclinable backrest, very high-density foam and off-center rocking mechanism (super rare at these prices), is well suited to this type of need.
